Here are 10 health benefits of sex, according to Kathleen Doheny and reviewed by Louise Chang, M.D., for WebMD.

1. Sex relieves stress by lowering blood pressure. I know it puts me in a good mood.

2. Sex boosts your immune system. Having sex regularly has been linked with higher levels of an antibody, IgA, which can prevent colds and other infections.

3. Sex burns calories. Thirty minutes of sex burns at least 85 calories. That means you can drop a pound in 21 hours' worth of sex! I bet that puts you in the mood.

4. Sex improves heart health, with evidence of this in men. Men who have sex at least once a week reduced their risk of fatal heart attacks by half.

So yesterday was Thanksgiving & I spent it with my friend Lisa. The first time in 7 years that I have not cooked. Lisa's brother is an amazing chef from Italy, so I was thankful to be able to joing her family for dinner. After dinner played games and then we took off at 12:30am to go to the woodbury commons to add to the chaos of the begining of black friday. Holy crap. I have never done that before....people are crazy...and we fit right in. I was stoked, Aldo was having a 50% off sale and I love Aldo. I bought this as a little x-mas gift to myself...

We didn't get home from shopping until 8am. We are crazy. I have been so tired all day.
I went out to for sushi tonight and it was amazing.... & tonight, Lycia got home from tour.

I have been in New York City for nearly three weeks now. I really like it here. I enjoy walking in the crowded streets with the brisk east coast air. Its quite pretty most places. People keep trying to convince me that I should move here...i'm not sure how I feel about it yet.
I love the culture here compared to southern california.
I love the architecture and the subways.
I love that I can go and win lottery tickets to see Broadway's Wicked and sit in the 2nd row.
I love that I an go eat at Red Bamboo whenever I please or walk down to K Dog or Mud and sipp a tasty hot bevy.
I love that I can randomly spend an evening hanging out with kirsten dunst.
I love that i can walk almost anywhere.
I love the music.
I love that I see so many friends in this city from near and far...a constant rotation.
I love that I am inspired for the art on the streets and the people I meet.
I love that I can dance my heart out to some of the best DJ's around.
I love that I have Katy Perry's boobs on my lap.
I love that I can hop on a plane to Pittsburgh to see my lovely Katie and it's only $70. RULES.
I love that I can look out at Prospect Park when I stay with Lisa, Allison Lycia and Jes.
I love that I can do all of this and still get all of my work done and more...
I love New York.

The Keep A Breast Foundation has partnered with Fox and Unite the United to present Shot In the Pit, a fundraising initiative through Keep A Breast’s Music For Awareness program. Combining art, photography, music, and philanthropy, Shot In the Pit is a touring exhibition featuring band photos from the legendary summer music festival Vans Warped Tour® taken by photographer Erin Caruso. The exhibitions take place at five venues from New York to Los Angeles beginning October 21- December 4, 2008.

“Though the primary focus of the Vans Warped Tour is about having fun, the presence of organizations such as Keep A Breast gives our fans a chance to learn something that could eventually save their lives,” said festival founder Kevin Lyman.

As the Pit Reporter from Vans Warped Tour, Caruso was up close and personal with the bands on the road. From her photo sessions this summer, she has donated over 45 images to the Keep A Breast Foundation. Unite the United will facilitate an online auction of images from the exhibition alongside music memorabilia and celebrity breast casts including Katy Perry beginning November 26 - December 6th. 100% of the proceeds generated from the touring exhibition and the online auction will be donated to the Keep A Breast Foundation’s youth awareness and outreach efforts.

So, I went to the movie theater today and saw Twilight. It was really good in my personal opinion. Yes, I am sure that if I read the book first I would have probably not been so keen on the movie... However, I did not, so now I'm super into it. I am going to go buy the book tomorrow an when I read it, I get to picture that hot piece of man as Edward Cullin...I'm pretty stoked about that.

So...
I don't want to be home nor do I want to be in Colorado with family over the holidays.
What I would really like to do is go on vacation. I'm down to go by myself...but I would much rather spend the time over the holidays with some friends. I want to go to Paris, but I am defiantly not opposed to going to a beautiful and tropical location. I happen to really enjoy lounging on the beach and sipping pina coladas. :)
and what better way to do that than with some friends.
so if you want to come on an adventure...lazy or exciting....Paris, Jamaica, whatever...

Hello friends!!

Erica here with Keep A Breast. I have been on the AP Tour for over six weeks sharing a bus with The Matches and the rotating AP crew person and it is nearing an end. We have been doing so wonderful and I have been having the best time. All of the bands and crew have been so supportive of us being out on the road with them...making sure that their fans come by and say hello to me and show some support. I am so thankful to everyone that has come to the shows and stopped by to say hello and pick up a shower card and tee shirt or tote bag to support breast cancer prevention through KAB. We have had a wonderful run of volunteers that have helped out at the shows every night an I couldn't be more thankful for you all!

Please make sure you all come by the last few shows on the AP Tour and stop by the KAB table. Please make sure you swing by all of the bands merch tables to support them as well. Monaca Brown is the merchandise manager for The Matches and has been so sweet to KAB the entire tour. She has donated 100% of her tips every night to Keep A Breast...she has a heart of gold and is by far one of the best people that I have ever met. Kevin Derr that is the merchandise manager for Forever The Sickest Kids has also donated 50% of his tips some nights to Keep A Breast.

Hello!
Soooo, I am having the best time ever here on the Gold Coast. I figured I should start doing my blogs again. SO here you go. Here are some pics of the land and of the casting parties and such :)

I am still in Coolangatta, QLD and the comp is coming to and end… We have today and maybe tomorrow, then we are done! …and then I return home ☹
The time spent here was very successful for KAB! We have received heaps of exposure here thanks to everyone working here. The commentators have been wonderful plugging us to make sure that people come and see us at the tent.

We casted fourteen of the ladies in the competition including world champion Stephanie Gilmore and a couple of the long boarders that were out, Kassia Meador and world champion Jen Smith. They were beautifully painted by Roxy and Quiksilver artists and then auctioned off to raise funds for breast cancer awareness. KAB will be donating a majority of the proceeds to the Australian National Breast Cancer Foundation.

There is also another really great organization out here at the contest called Sean Sheppard. Established in 1977, Sea Shepherd Conservation Society (SSCS) is an international non-profit, marine wildlife conservation organization whose mission is to end the destruction of habitat and slaughter of wildlife in the world’s oceans in order to conserve and protect ecosystems and species.  

 Sea Shepherd uses innovative direct-action tactics to investigate, document, and take action when necessary to expose and confront illegal activities on the high seas. By safeguarding the biodiversity of our delicately-balanced ocean ecosystems, Sea Shepherd works to ensure their survival for future generations. When I arrived into CA today, my lovely friend Josh came to pick me up from the airport, we went to his lady’s house to freshen up then he drove me to meet up with my dear friend Lisa in Huntington Beach. It was so nice to catch up with her…I haven’t seen her since at least January, so it was a treat. We went to eat at Aloha Grill then met up with Danielle at Tuna Town for bevy’s. We ran into an old friend, Dave Ruel as well! It was a fun night that ended early with me a Lisa peacing out and heading back to her place to hang until we passed on.

Right now I am on a train to SD to get ready and go watch one of my dearest friends, Cortney, graduate from nursing school!!!!!! I’m so proud of her!
I love the train ride too! It’s so fun! I have to do this shit more often.

The weekend was awesome, just celebrated with the girls, BBQ’d and relaxed. This week was wonderful as well! I began all of my planning for Keep A Breast for Warped Tour, Think Pink Day, Think Pink Tour and all of the goodies htat I will be partaking in the rest of the year!
It’s been great! I decided to join in on the Lost season finale viewing party at Katie’s house on Wed…and I’m still not 10% impressed. I’m still going to give it a go and try to watch that crap from the beginning, but we’ll see f I change my ways. This weekend I am just chillin with some good friends, going to some lovely BBQ’s and parties. Then my birthday celebration on Tuesday…26 Yikes!

5-17-07 – Denver to SLC to Orange County

Today I woke up after a long night last night of bar and show hopping. I was able to see so many wonderful friends….friends that I had not seen for years, it was wonderful! I was tired when I woke up, and sad. Sad to leave my family. I feel so fortunate that I was able to hang with my family as much as I did this past week. I flew in last Thursday (the 11th) and drove up to the mountain house with my family. I have been so excited to go to the mountains. Quiet. Peaceful. All I hear are birds chirping, and when the wind blows the occasions chimes ringing from my mothers decorative garb around the porch. Their porch swarms with birds much of the time….mainly because of the 50 bizziillion bird feeders that my parents have surrounding their house. It may sound slightly obnoxious, but it’s really quite nice.
I had the unfortunate drive down the mountain on Friday to attend a distant friends funeral. It saddens me to think that some people in this world feel so helpless, and hopeless for that matter that they have to take their own lives. There are people that care…friends and family…these people are the ones that are being hurt by an individuals desire to just not deal with life anymore. I hope that this kind of incident does not cross the path of any of my loved ones….near or far. It is much too hard to see some of my best friends in so much pain because of such a selfish act.
After the services for Brian Circle in Golden, a bunch of us went down to the Columbine where many drowned themselves in Coors Light, hugs and warm stories shared. Soon after my good friend Justin and I went for a drive and went to my long time friend of 21 years now, Darcy’s house. It is always wonderful to see her and I am thankful that we still keep in touch as often as possible.

Saturday morning my dear friend, morgan and I went to have breakfast at my favorite joint in Denver, The Water Course. Soooo effing god… but I think our eyes were definitely bigger than our bellies that day. We parted and met up again later that evening to thrown Laura D. a surprise 30th b-day party! We had soo much fun! BBQing, beer pong, card games, Guitar Hero (thanks to AP I had some good practice so I was able to hold my own against the pro’s). It was a rad night and I’m so glad that I was able to spend time with that posse (Morgan, Laura, Naomi, Kathleen, Chip, Steven and Matt).
Sunday was Mothers Day, so I spent the day cleaning my mom’s house for her and then met up her at my grandmothers house for dinner. The rest of the week I spent up in the mountains with my dad. He is still in chronic rejection from his lung transplant and was feeling particularly crappy this week. I’m very glad that I was able to hang with him, help him out and just relax! I did a lot of nerding out on the internet hence my blog getting more updated in the recent few days. I had a lot of time to think aver the past week as well. I wanted things to just clear up for me as to what direction I am going with my life, what I am doing with myself now and what I should be. I cannot get over how lucky I am to be living the life I live right now. I am so fortunate to have such amazing friends (for always giving me a place to crash in between work…eeheeem, Katie!), for always looking out for my well being and helping lead the path to the next big opportunity that awaits me. I have done a lot of thinking about what I want to do next...creatively.
I started speaking with my friend Ron about this nearly two years ago…I wish more than anything that I had a beautiful voice. Seriously. I have so many talented friends that truly amaze me. I would love to experience that world even for just a moment…so you never know, one day…maybe I will attempt to show off these chords!!! I’ll be putting in many hours in my truck and perhaps a karaoke bar or two…maybe you will join me?

This morning was awesome. I stayed at Ryan’s house and got to sleep in in a comfortable bed! Then Ry made me breakfast…I love that, breckie is one of my favorite meals of the day. We chilled much of the morning into the early afternoon, watching dumb videos on You Tube and such, ran some errands and then rolled back to hi house where I casted his mom for Keep A Breast. After the casting, we rolled to Brians house to BBQ. It was so rad to just cill, eat some yummy food and just hang by a fire. The homies from Ordinary clothing came over as well as a few of the guys other friends. Then Ryan I went back to his place to crash.

Today I got breakfast made for me again…so awesome. Ryan and I met up with Brian and his friend Lindsey and we took a train into the city to walk around Central Park, It was so pretty! We walked and walked…got ice cream then went to Strawberry Fields. After we decided to walk down to Red Bamboo….again, my favorite restaurant in NYC thus far. We had a wait so we walked over to this little joint a few doors down…a little English style pub. I plopped myself on a stool between two gentlemen to order Brian and I some bevy’s, and I felt this guy to my left staring at me. I didn’t want to turn and look at him because I thought that he was being creepy so I just kept to my own and talked to Brian. I felt him leaning in a bit more or staring a bit harder so I finally looked at him…it ends up being Will, then friend of Katie’s that I had met last week in Brooklyn…so random! We yapped for a while then our posse went over to eat at RB. After we ate, we went back to Brooklyn, hung out with Erica, Ryan’s girlfriend, then walked over to Galle’s house up the street for a BBQ. We hung there for a while then went back to Erica’s to sleep.

Today I woke up, grabbed breakfast, and hopped on a train, and went to the city to go check out the MOMA. It was wonderful. It was super nice to just be alone too. I rarely have a large chunk of time that I am alone, so it was really lovely. I spent a good 3 hours there, then walked from 51st down to Union Square to hop a train back to BK. To hang with the ladies before I take off. Ryan met up there after some time spent at the studio recording. We all went to grab some dinner at this awesome place down the street then went back and crashed.

Today Taylor was kind enough to drive me into the city so I could grab a shuttle to the Newark airport. I was sad to leave NYC but so psyched to see my family in Denver. My flight was delayed a freaking hour after we were already boarded ad chilling on the runway…there were all kinds of nasty thunderstorms and such. My mom picked me up from the airport and drove me up to their mountain house. I cannot even tell you how lovely it was to be at their home…and back home in Denver for that matter.

NYC to Jersey - Bamboozle

The Envy girlfriends, Katey, Charlie, Crista and Erica’s roommate came to pick my ass up in the city to take me to Bamboozle with them. Such sweet ladies. The drive there was an adventure enough for me. NY drivers are effing scary! We decided to hang in the parking lot and drink beers before going in. Haven’t done that shit since my friend Jenny and I went to a show at Coor Ampatheater in SD over two years ago. I was stoked because after the ladies rolled in, I ran into my friend, Josh. I love the crap out of him….amazing dude. Ladies…snag this one up if you have the opportunity, he’s and incredible guy. We just walked around all day. Met up with Spanky and Heather, Richard, Jeff, Tom, Shannt, Scott, Jaclyn, Adrian and a bunch of other homies. Just did a lot of walking around. All of the bands sounded like shit today. No offense to them personally, just the set up and winds to blame. We stuck around until MC Hammer played…I though it was going to be amazing. I was so let down. Granted, I have wanted to see this dude since I was a little lady but he lip synced the entire time and was pretty busted. It could have been anyone up there. So dumb. O-well. Then Josh, Scott, Jaclyn, Spanky, Heather and I went out to eat in the Cinco De Mayo madness. It was nuts and we were all pretty worn out. We just went back to Scott and Jaclyn’s house, hung out and crashed.

Jersey – Bambozle

Today we slept in a bit…at least Jaclyn and I did. Then rolled to meet the rest of the Circa posse at Bamboozle. I rolled in with everyone, then quickly lost them, except for Colin. We wandered up to check out Brand New. They opened the show today at noon. I stayed for a while, then headed out to check out some other bands. There were some pretty rad bands playing today. I was psyched! I met up with Spanky and Heather and chilled with them for a bit. Then Anthony rolled up and we went for a little stroll around to check out the EVR tent and say hello. They had heaps of goodies out for Circa’s new album release “On Letting Go” on 5.29.07…..PS. I already pre-ordered mine and it is coming with a lovely litte tote bag…like I need another one! Circa went on at 3 something and they had a special little treat for the fans up close today! They brought out these huge 5ft balloons when they first got on stage. It looked rad for the few seconds they lasted then those suckers all flew away…buggar! After Circa played, I gave my hugs and loves to them because some peaced out right after their set. I went on with my night and went to visit one of my favorite people ever, Johnny from Kill Brand Clothing (www.killbrand.com). AMAZING guy and incredible threads. He is way too modest…which I probably why I love him so much. I spent the rest of the night with him and the posse in the same tent as hime, Rockett Clothing. I have heard nothing but wonderful things about these people. They proved me right this evening! I spoke with Kali and within in minutes she had given me an awesome hoodie (seriously sooo effing cute) and put a beer with coozie in my hand. They were all so awesome! I ran into my good friends from the Bled there as well, so that was lovely too! After the show, I met up with the lovely Envy boys and watched Captured by Robots….so rad! Then just chilled and rolled back to Long Island that night.

LA to SD to NYC, NY!!!!!!

Woke up super early again today because I had heaps to do before I had to jump on a plane to NYC! I went to Shaney Jo’s house and saw her for a hot second. I played with her dog, Camper then I had to bounce down to SD to park my car and call a cab to take me to the airport. I had a very long flight but watched a move and listened to some good music on the way. My boy, Larry (Envy’s TM and all around awesome guy) came to pick me up from the airport with 3 of his sauced up friends. They were all super nice and it was wonderful to see Larry again. They took me to this bar in Long Island called Mr. Beery’s. Everyone I met was super nice…all the guys from The Sleeping and Bayside. We chilled there for a few hours until everyone was good and sauced and there was hardly any room to move. Then we dropped everyone off and I slept at Larry’s place.

Today Larry and I got up fairly early, went to get breckie at one of his local bagel spots…you kind of have to eat bagels in NY…just like slices. Then we went to his old college for some day festival thing and saw Real Big Fish. Not the biggest fan, but it was still a good time. Afterwards we drove over to Sal’s house where all of the Envy guys were. They were in a deep writing mode, and I was lucky enough to hear a new song they had just written. These guys are so rad…best dudes ever! We all had lunch…well, I had carrot cake, but the rest of the dudes had lunch. J Then Larry took me into the city to meet his dad and drop me off at the hotel that I was meeting my San Diego lady friends at (the Salsbury). It was an incredible suite..seriously, you do not get places like this n NYC…we lucked out thanks to Larry and Larry! I ran into Kerry, then Katie and Bree shortly after. We got cleaned up and went to H & M to partake in a bit of shopping. Then we went to dinner and went to check out the Angels and Kings bar in the East Village. We met up with Katie’s friend, Will, walked in had one drink and walked out and jumped on the train to Brooklyn. We went to this rad bar….and I can’t for the life of me remember the name of it. We met a lot of rad people, drank cheap and strong bevy’s, did a bit of dancing and then we ended up at some warehouse party. Where naturally my narcoleptic ass decided to fall asleep at and my lovely friends sat a stringless guitar and a cowboy hat on me and proceeded to take photo’s. Awesome. We peaced out shortly after, mainly because we were kicked out by this dude’s roommate. Super funny, but homeboy was pissed off.

Hang sessions in order today. Me, Katie, Bree and Boston Mike = super awesome times. Shopping etc. Honetly I can’t remember what else we did except shop and eat. Then we went to Brooklyn again and went to meet Will at some party at his friends place. We all got a little saucy and hit up a pizza joint at who know’s what time in the AM. Then cabbed back to our hotel. Fun times for days and days. We kidnapped Will’s friend, Perry too.

LA to Indio, CA

This morning I woke up and peace out after breakfast and was on my way to Indio, CA for my 3 o’clock call time at Coachella. I was so psyched to work this festival. Not only do I get to work an incredible event, but I get to see one of my favorite people ever, Nicole D.! So excited!! It was a pretty easy drive getting there… the heat turned up a few notches as I dove further into the desert. I arrived, gave my love to miss Nicole and met the guys that I would be working with in the days to come….who happened to be super rad guys. We just chilled out most of the afternoon into the evening until our intro meeting and training sesh. That evening we just met up with some fellow Warped Tour homies and checked out the campground then peaced out for the evening.

Indio, CA – Coachella Day 1 of festival

Day one was pretty chill. My call time was noon but I ended up getting up super early and grabbing breakfast with my roomie, Teresa. Tada Catering is always awesome, especially when you have hot ladies like, Jeneatha, Angel and Shelly taking care of you. I ended up hanging around until call time then the other dudes I was working with decided not to take the shuttle so I had to go get them a new parking pass and deliver it to them…little buggars made me nearly an hour late. We all got together with Nicole and set our schedule for the day and I effing lucked out…I worked from 7-9 and that’s it. The rest of the day I chilled. Met up with Molly and relaxed…enjoyed some music. The line up for day one is below. I was lucky enough to catch the following: Bjork, Interpol, Jesus and Mary Chain, Artic Monkey’s, Peaches, Rufus Wainright, Stephen Marley, Of Montreal, Circa Survive, Silversun Pickups, Amy Winehouse, and Brother Ali. I was pretty psyched. After I was done working I met up with the Circa posse and chilled with them most of the evening. I observed the celebrity playground known as the VIP section. Which was not minimal. Heaps of people swarming, being seen, consuming etc….definitely a sight to see. Anthony, Meredith, Scott, Chris and I all walked down in the mix of things after Interpol played so we could get a good view for Bjork’s set. I am not good in crowds, so I peaced out and took full advantage of my lovely little wristband and went and plopped myself from and center in the barracade for her set. It was effing insane. I love Bjork and I cannot describe to you how awesome it was to be that close and have such an incredible view. I was literally right in front of her…okay, well to the side a little bit. I didn’t want to get trampled by a bunch of photographers. I stayed there for most of her set, but I REALLY enjoy getting different perspectives on shows, so I walked all over the place. I went out deep in the lawn to the sound board and ended up staying there until the end of the set. They had it set up so that there was gnarly 20’ divide down the center so I had a delightful view from where I was. After the show was over Roger and I wondered around back and finished up a job well done for the day back at the Springboard trailors. Such a rad day!!
After I was done, I just cruised back to my condo (that was incredible by the way) at the PGA West Gold course and peaced out for the night.

4-28-07 Indio, CA – Day Two Coachella

I got up early again today to go have breckie with Teresa. I lucked out with my schedule again today, 7-9pm and the rest of the day was hang sesh USA. It was awesome. I met up with the Circa posse again after a lovely visit to see miss Victoria. Brendan and I grabbed lunch and then went to this mansion down the way for this DKNY party. I was psyched, the first thing I saw when we got there was a little lady handing out free bevy’s. We rolled in and there was people everywhere. They had DJ’s to entertain us, and the grounds were insanely beautiful. There was a pretty big pool and a pond about 30 feet from the pool that divided it from the lawn where there was a helicopter just chillin. All over the lawn there were double beds drapped in white linens and huge pillows to just chill and relax and enjoy the surroundings. We met a few rad people while were there, then we peaced out so we could go catch a few sets before I had to go work my 2 hour shift. J Below is the line up for the entire day, but I was lucky to catch the following: Red Hot Chilli Peppers, The Arcade Fire, Tiesto, Kings of Leon, Regina Spektor, Ghostface Killah and Andrew Bird. The evening was fun for a while. I spent a lot of it hanging in Victoria’s office, staying away from large crowds. I met up with Holiday and Sticky and we cruised around until we found the artists campground. It was rad back in there and I wish that I would have hung out longer. I just didn’t have it in me…

Coachella - Day 3

Today was chill. I changed it up a bit and worked a 3-5 shift and a 9-11 shift to give the other guys a break…I had it pretty easy the past couple of days. Hung out all day in the early afternoon and watched some rad bands with friends. I caught Mika with my friend Molly, then I rolled over to see Anathallo. This band is insanely good. I can’t believe I missed part of their set. I can’t wait to see them play again. Definitely watch out for them.
I met up with Anthony and Meredith and chilled with them after watching Lupe Fiasco at the Tapes & Tapes set in the Mojave tent. I had to peace out a bit early so I could go work for a bit. When I was done working, I was able to catch the end of Against Me, some of Lzilly Allen, and Jose Gonzalaz…who was amazing! I played around and was able to chill during sunset which was amazing and beautiful. The Dew Lab did a great job with entertaining and keeping the masses cool in the hot desert heat with their water features and large shady leaf sculptures. The art throughout the festival was incredible and really made the entire place feel like a playground for an art nerd like myself. At the end of the night, Rage Against the Machine played and I chose to stay as far away as possible for most of their set. I chose to go close out my three day weekend with The Leomheads, and they were awesome. I did end up catching the end of Rage and then hung with Anthony, Meredith, Ponce Laura Jean and several others for the rest of the evening. It was a nice closure to the weekend.

Hang sesh

I took my sweet time this morning when I woke up. I don’t thing I actually left the condo until 2ish. I enjoyed the lovely view from my back porch of the golf course and mountains. Then I rolled back to the festival site. Everyone was hard at work breaking down all of the stages and such when I arrived. I went and met Victoria for lunch and ran into my dear friend Jonathan that I met last summer. Such a good dude. I decided to go and try to meet my lady friends at a spa near Palm Springs and ended up getting lost, so I just peaced out back to LA. I went directly to my good friend Ryan’s house to hang with him for the night. He’s awesome, always lets me roll in and crash whenever I am in town. LOVE it!

Slept in as much as I could today then I rolled out of bed to go meet Molly for coffe and ended up going back to her place to hang for a bit and nerd out on the internet. I was psyched for the evening because my friends from Denver and one of the most amazing live bands I have ever seen in my life was playing tonight at the Wiltern. I have never been to this venue before so that was just the icing on the cake for me….not to mention the rest of the line up…Against Me, Cursive and Mastadon (**** mastadon – Katie/Kevin feel free to insert comment here). I met up with Ryan after the show and went to some bar down the street from the venue then rolled back to his house again for a sleep session…awesome.

San Diego, CA

Hung with Katie today a bit, ran around, did some laundry. blah blah blah...I went to Black box to visit my family there. I miss them and love them very much. I went to lunch with Laura and Jenny and ended up spending 3 & 1/2 hours hoping from person to person catching up and saying hello. It was great seeing everyone.
I met up with Katie again later that evening at her place and we went to the Tower bar to hang and observe an eating contest. Shit rules. First off, this bar is rad. It’s small and filled with PBR paraphernalia all over the place. So we have a couple bevy’s and watch as the contestants get prepared to eat their mounds of noodles and meatballs covered in Tabasco sauce. You my think that that seems semi tolerable… however, to win the contest you have to be the first clean your plate then you have to manage to down a hefty shot of whiskey! Yikes! I would have surely had a vomit party if I played part in this contest.

Today was awesome! I drove up to LA to hang with some friends before I headed out to Coachella. I met up with my friend Alex and went to the historic 101 Café for dinner. After we went to meet up with my girls Lycia and Jessica for drinks at Tiny’s. It was awesome seeing both of them. I haven’t seen Lycia since tour last summer so it was a real treat. I just went back and crashed at Alex’s place for the night.

Still in Boston, MA - the gauntlet

Last night was amazing! After the show we all just hung out together as we should, as our tour family. It was crazy outside because of the baseball game across the street..people were everywhere. When I was in the bus grabbing a beverage all of the posse outside noticed that there was this guy across the street playing drums by himself and they all ran up to him...and probably scared the shit out of him...and formed a giant circle of guys dancing around him and jumping in to help him with beats...it was insane and so much fun. After the little drum circle, everyone ended up in our bus at some point whether they liked it or not for the "gauntlet". If you don't know what it is, lucky you...and you will just have to find out for yourself. After hanging with everyone, all of the Cute guys were ready to peace, so Anthony, Spanky, Heather (Spankette), Chris and I went to this small reggae club down the street. We had to beg them to let us in, but it worked out. We had a few adult beverages and shook our bums a bit. Then I had to say my goodbyes to all of my boys in the Circa Survive family. Envy had ben gracious enough to give me a ride to the hotel where we were both staying at. Saying goodbye (till next time) to the Circa guys was awful. I am going to miss them so much it makes my stomach hurt. Lucky for me I do get to see them in a couple of weeks at Bamboozle. So as soon as I gave my loves and hugs, I jumped in the Envy van and we were off. We all chilled at the Marriot and stayed up fairly late hanging and telling stories until we couldn't talk any more. These guys are awesome and I am going to miss them heaps as well.
So today I am got up early and flew back to San Diego. My good friend Katie came to pick me up from the airport and took me back to her place to hang & freshen up up before we headed out. We decided to go out to Live Wire tonight. Cheap drinks and a chill place, so I was psyched. We ended up getting a bit saucy because everyone we ran into decided that they wanted to buy us drinks and shots...yikes. good times though.

Another big city and another crazy day with industry heads scrambling all over the place....that's what we have to look forward to today. I got up pretty early and Josh and I took a super long walk from the Fillmore to find coffee and then all around the East Village, down St Marks street, through a couple of Parks and back to the venue. I LOVE walking around the city! I get more excited about just walking than going out to party and the many of bars and such that NYC has to offer. You see more crazy stuff than anywhere else. It's awesome. After set up, I went for another wonderful long walk to the west side through NYU territory to find my favorite restaraunt in the city, Red Bamboo! It's the best vegan/vegitarian food the city can offer in my opinion. The Fillmore is an awesome venue! There were so many of the guys families that I got to meet today. I have been looking forward to meeting Ryan from Envy's mom since the beginning of tour and today I finally got to meet her... she's awesome. I got to meet Larry's parents as well as Brian's family. I know there were heaps more but I can't remember everyone. The show was awesome and went really fast. After the show a crew of us went to the Beauty Bar for an after party....and we split pretty much right away to head down to the a couple other bars in the East Village. It ended up being a pretty short night. We peaced out a bit early before us call so we could swing by Scott and Jaclyn's house in Jersey before heading over to the venue on the Jersey Shore. They have an awesome collection of Munny Dolls and heaps of other collectable toys.

Asbury Park, NJ
Spankatron 2007 and I got up early today and walked down the boardwalk in Asbury Park. Apparently there have been heaps of movies filed here and a bunch of the Soprano's. It's super desolate but pretty rad looking at the same time. We took some photos then went back to the bus. There is literally nothing around this area to do before the show, so most of us just chilled on the bus or in the venue playing Guitar Hero 2. The venue, The Stone Pony is a rad historic venue that I was stoked to be at. It's where "The Boss" got his start in the industry! The show sold out and there were over 800 or 900 kids in a venue that seemed like it should have fit about 500...it was super packed. I was psyched because Anthony's parents and his lady came out to the show tonight! They are all so awesome and fun to chill with. Durring Circa's set, his parents hung with me for a good view and a chance to get away from the mass amount of kids that filled the room for their incredible set. The energy was insane during their set. After the show, my good friend Johnny from Kill Brand Clothing(www.killbrand.com) took me back to his house so I could clean up and get girly again. Then I went to a cool bar near his house with his roommates and friends. I would definately suggest checking out his clothing line if you haven't already. He will be at Bamboozle and Warped Tour so keep an eye out for his booth!!

There was nothing really around the venue today when I woke up, so I just hung around the bus until the venue opened. Then loaded in and chilled most of the day with everyone. The show was so much fun for everyone tonight!! Durring Envy's set I decided to surprise them and jump on stage along with Anthony from Circa and Dan from Lions, to help sing Gift of Paralysis with them!! It was rad!! I LOVE those guys. After the show we just hung out around the busses. It was Brian from Envy's birthday at midnight so we made sure he got a little saucy for the celebration....Scott is REALLY good at making sure friends get nice and sauced up! We stole Dan from Envy on our bus tonight! We also had Danessa and Chris's lady, Stephanie cruising with us. Dan, Anthony, Brendan, Spanky and I stayed up super late...till 5 or 6 in the AM playing GH2 and hanging out...I don't know how I'm going to get back into the swing of a normal sleeping rotation after tour. Tonight was an awesome night and my last one one to spend with all of the Circa guys. I am going to miss them so much when this tour is over...and unfortunately it will be over tomorrow.

Today is the last day on tour. Sooo bummed. I woke up and walked around with Danessa, Nick's girlfriend....who happens to be one of the raddest girls I have met. I have never been to Boston where I was actually able to check out the city so it was nice to walk around. We rolled back to the bus and I loaded in and set up early so I would be able to have the rest of the day to spend with my tour family whom of which I will miss dearly in about 24 hours. After I was all set up, I went to lunch with all of the Envy on the Coast guys and some of the Lions posse for Brian from EOTC's birthday today!!! I seriously love these guys! They are amazing. When I got back to the venue, I met up with Aaron from AP and we finished up with set up. I went to my bus before the show started to grab my things for the show and I ended up getting locked inside the bus for about 25 minutes!! what in the crap!?!? Who gets locked in a bus? Sal was the first to try to help me get out, then Scott and Jaclyn, then the rest of the Circa guys...not to mention the audience that I had of kids that were waiting for the show to start and the bizzillion Red Sox and Yankee fans heading to the game that night. I was so bummed...but laughing at my situation at the same time. just figures it would happen. We were all just yapping through the little window by the drivers seat. I felt so useless. Then I went and sat by the door and tried it super gently and all of the sudden the door just gently opened....so weird. Everyone else piled in and I peaced out to go work since by the time I got out, doors had already been open for 15 minutes...yikes. I had my signing with Circa for the last night and they headlined the show tonight as well. Security was so good there that I didn't have to do a whole lot to regulate the line. So I was able to chat with Anthony's brother and his friend that live in the area...such nice guys. From what I could see of Envy's set, they played well. I will miss not being able to see these guys play every night. I wanted to run up and sing with them again when they played Gift of Paralysis but I was too busy at my table. :( However I was able to get on stage with the Lions guys for the super group singing sesh of Love, Love, Love, Love. It was rad, heaps of people jumped on stage for this one...Brendan, Anthony, Colin, Chris, other Chris, Ryan, Brian, Derek and probably more but I couldn't look around that much...I get nervous being up there in front of so many people. After Lions set, Cute Is What We Aim For played their set with their classic Blink 182 cover and heaps of people joined them on stage...I think Jeff got taped to his guitar too! Then Circa ended the show. They were awesome tonight! Their lighting was amazing and they sounded so powerful it was a great way to end the tour. At the end of the set, tons of people from the tour jumped on stage with Anthony after he sang Meet Me In Montauk solo for a super group vocal sesh of Love, Love, Love, Love....and we even got the crowd involved. After the show, I did my normal breakdown then just went and chilled with everyone. I have been so lucky to have had the opportunity over the past five plus weeks to get to know and love some of the most amazing people I have ever met in my life. These are some of the most kind, loving, caring and talented people I know. I seriously cannot thank all of the people at AP enough for putting this tour on. It's been an amazing adventure and I feel fortunate to have been a part of it....hopefully you all will be seeing me on the road again next year! Today is the day that everyone on tour has been talking about! The Norva is by far the raddest venue ever!!!! I immidiatley loaded in and set up so I could go pamper myself in the green room upstairs. I rolled upstairs and there were two ginormous rooms filled with snacks, drinks and warm comfy couches. There were five showers, a sauna, hot tub....this would be the infamous "man soup" that I have been looking forward to. Ah ha ha ha...
I just pampered myself all day long, it was amazing! I must have been in that sauna for 40 minutes, then jumped in the hot tub with Nick, Steve and Josh and a few randoms in and out of the tub. I was so relaxed all day. They had and indoor basketball court and ping pong tables as well to keep us all entertained.
The show was awesome tonight!! Everyone was in such a great mood and all of the bands played excellent tonight. Sal from Envy joined Circa and shared vocals for their last song, In Fear and Faith, it was amazing.

The show was super fun tonight!! My AP table, Envy on the Coast and As Tall As Lions merch were all set up right next to the stage so we had prime spots for all of the show goers to come hang out with us and watch the show. I was particularly stoked because every night during the Lions' Love, Love, Love, Love jam, Anthony jumps on guitar and Ryan, Brian, Dan and Sal jump on vocals and tonight I decided to get wierd with the mic and actually managed to get the guts to jump on stage with all of them. Soo much fun!!! After the show, all of the Circa guys, except Steve, jumped in Meredith's car to go back to their house to chill at their house for the day off tomorrow. So we stole a couple of the Envy guys, Brian and Ryan as well as Richard from the Cute posse and had a Guitar Hero slumber party on our bus. We had so much fun shredding all night.....will remember this night for a while for sure.

Today was amazing! We all just went to the Circa house and chilled out all day. All of the guys just hung around and played guitar, yapped and relaxed while Scott played in the kitchen all day making us all a gormet feast of eggplant lasagna! It was so effing good! I don't think that guy could make anything bad....ever! I helped out a bit too and made some yummy appitizers for the guys. It was such a wonderful day filled with such comfortable surroundings. I loved it!! And...I got to meet everyone's girlfriends! They are all just as amazing as the guys. I've been excited to meet all of them this entire tour. These guys are lucky to have such wonderful women in their lives!!

Today I got up pretty early and walked around South Street to do some window shopping and then met up with Ryan, Brian and their friend Panda to go get veggie philly cheese steaks near the venue. Then I rolled with Josh and Steve to walk around a bit more and grab a cup of coffee. We went back for load in and chilled at the venue the rest of the afternoon. This is Circa's hometown so everyone was in good spirits for the show. The entire show was amazing! I jumped on stage with the pose again for the Lions Love song even Jer from Envy jumped on stage today! Everyine soounded amazing and Anthony's encore was great tonight. Heaps of family came to the show...got to meet Anthony's parents and they are so seet! After the show, we chilled on the bus and met some of the guys friends, and yapped with them for a while. Then Chris, Stephanie and I went to the Blarney Stone Bar next to the venue to hang with Meredith and Anthony for a bit. We went back to the bus and chilled for a while, then I just passed out. BIG day in NYC tomorrow. I'm excited!

Today was awesome! A beautiful day in the dirty south! After set up, I had my good friend's mom come pick me up. We went to lunch in the five points area...it was so nice to sit on an outside patio and hang out. They got me back to the venue just in time for doors. The kids packed in and immidiatly went for Guitar Hero to shred! Shortly after doors, my friend Jeff from local band, Cartel, came by the AP booth to say hello! I haven't seen him since last summer on Warped so it was a treat! There was another little treat for the fans tonight during the As Tall As Lions set! Guys from Cartel came out to sing Love, Love, Love, Love and Anthony played guitar and sang with the Lions.
It was so rad and so awesome for those who caught their set! After the show, everyone got kind of rowdy...running around, yelling, chasing each other....entertaining to watch from a distance.

PS...I am seriously the luckiest girl ever to be surrounded with such honest people and musicians on this tour. It doesn't happen often on the road where you meet people that tour and have such good heads on their shoulders. I was chillin with a few of the Envy and Circa guys chatting away and not only do they care about their music more that life itself, but they have the bests hearts on the face of the planet. There is a gnarly loyalty stereotype put on musicians with girlfriends/boyfriends right off the bat...I am witness to the most loyal and respectful men in the music industry. These guys care about their girlfriends more than anyone. They are such gentlemen too...always opening doors for women...okay, well...for me (I'm the only girl on tour, so I can only speak for myself)...but regardless, they have such kind hearts and are very respectful of people in general.

Everyone was super psyched last night for today....Disney World?!?!? of course we're excited, it's the happiest place on earth, right??? So I got up today,got gussied up, ate some breakfast, showered adn loaded in! It was so good to be in warm weather again! After load in and set up, Spanky and I went to Lego Land and decided to get the Circa guys a little present!! We made little lego people look like each of them! So stinkin cute! When we got back, I had about enough time to deal with some business and get ready for doors. The show went super well tonight!! It had to have sold out tonight, it's crazy packed in here! Show goers of Orlando were so good to the bands tonight! Envy on the Coast did a signing tonight, and they had a line before they even got off stage for their signing after Lions set. Everyone was so stoked to meet these guys!
During the Lions set, Ryan and Brian from Envy came out to join in on vocals and Anthony came out and played guitar and sang on Love, Love, Love, Love...it was beautiful. After the show there was a gnarly downpour during load out. The rain was so warm so I just said eff it and I played in the rain for a good 20 minutes or so. It was awesome! I felt like I was 5 again playing in the rain!! After I cleaned myself up from getting dirty from playing outside, Josh, Steve, Chris and I walked through Pleasure Island and grabbed some late night bevy's and food at Planet Hollywood. After word we popped onto Cute's bus to give Tom loves for his 19th birthday!!! He wasn't to psyched on us harassing him, but I LOVE hugs, so I had to get one in there. Our boy Larry, Envy's TM, was lucky enough to hang with two of the ladies that play Little Mermaid's, Ariel, for Disney World...sly little devil!

Today I woke up and it was still effing raining! I haven't been to Florida in something like 13 years when it hasn't rained...one of these days the sun will shine all day in Florida....one day. After it dried up a bit, I walked around with Josh and Colin to check out the area and find a cup of coffee then rolled back for load in and set up. The venue was pretty rad today. I think it is some kind of fancy dance party club some nights, so there were cozy couches all over the place. We had Circa sign a little bit after doors and the area was packed with people trying for their chance to meet the guys and show them some love. It was so effing warm and humid everyone was drenched. As Tall As Lions fans were stoked tonight!! They got to battle Dan and Rob from Lions on Guitar Hero 2! They were so psyched. They are probably going to battle people every night, so make sure you come by and try to wreck their scores!! Towards the end of the show, a long time friend of mine, Jennifer, from high school came out to visit me and hang for the night! I am so lucky to have so many wonderful people all of the states to come hang out! After load out, we went to the bar next door for some bevy's and a dance party! Spanky's good friend, Jill, came out to hang as well! She is absolutely awesome! We tore up the dance floor and managed to get some bling off some dude... it was amazing! We all just chilled on the bar's patio all night shooting video and hanging out. We kidnapped Brian from Envy to ride on our bus for the night...and I believe that Brian some how got a homeless guy that was hanging out to lend him his bike to play with... for some reason, I thought it would be a good idea to try to ride it.....I was mistaken. It was a long, long long night filled with some of my favorite people in the world....I'm such a lucky girl!

You will never effing believe it!!!!!!! My first day in 13 plus years that I am in Florida and it did not rain one single drop!!!!!! so stoked! Today I had a very late start...as did most of the guys on my bus....it was a very LONG night, and I paid for it today. grrrr. We got up and Brian and I went for a lovely walk on the beach and yap it up. When we rolled back to the bus we snagged up Josh and Nick from the Circa posse to grab some lunch with us. Brian and I shared lunch and the most amazing portabello mushroom dish...so scrumptious! After lunch, I loaded in and set up then a posse of us went back to the beach (me, Anthony, Josh, Steve, Scott , Spanky and Chris) to play in the water and breathe in the fresh air...and they attempted to toss me in the, then proceeded to harass Spanky and threatened to bury someone in the sand...didn't happen as of yet, but it's still early. I'll come back with the rest of the stories from the evening a bit later.
....After the show tonight, Steve and I went to grab some food because we were both starving, then we rolled back to the busses to grab Brendan and Chris and walked down to the beach. It didn't really last too long then we all just cruised back to the bus and had a little pow wow outside.

North Cacka Laka! I love this state, it's so beautiful here....unfortunately where the venue was located, there is nothing around. I got up, loaded in and set up super fast. Since there was nothing to do, I picked up my embroidery project that I have been working on and sat on the back balcony area while the guys did sound check and nerded out until doors. The show started out right with a huge turn out for the Circa signing just after doors. I didn't get to see much of the show, except Lions' Love, Love, Love, Love with Anthony from Circa, as well as Sal, Ryan and Brian from Envy joining in harmony with Dan, Julio and Saen. After the Circa set, Rob from Lions battled some kids on Guitar Hero 2 and I ended up having pretty much all of the Envy guys at my table all throughout the night to keep me company and have mini autograph signings. After the show, a lot of us just chilled at the venue with Dave (the owner of the Treemont) and had a few bevy's to celebrate Anthony's birthday starting at midnight! It was a great night filled with great stories and heaps of love all around.

I have never been to Chicago before so I have been super excited to come to this city for ever. I have some of the best friends I cold have asked for that live in this city and all of them came out to the show today! In the morning I got up early and went down to the Pick Me Up Cafe just down the street from Wrigley field. The breckie was off the charts ...they even made a little chocolate sail boat in my morning bevy!! I went back to the Metro to set up. After set up, Scott, Jacquie, Anthony and I went to Scott's old roommate's bar just down the street to hang out. Then he took, Anthony, Jacquie and I to run erronds and back to his house to load us up with little gifts to bring back to the posse...like my new little plant for the bus!!!
I have been wanting to see a show at the Metro forever as well. So all in all I was just super excited about the day!!!I was only able to catch part of the Envy set today and the rest of the time I was stuck in the merch area. I love hanging out with all of the merch homies but it was a super screwy set up and they regulated how many people could be in the area at a time. There was constantly a line to get into the merch area, so many kids didn't get in when they wanted to...especially for the Cute Is What We Aim For signing.
After the show was over, I loaded out quick and met up with my friends, Morgan from Flower Booking, Stank and Nicole for bevy's. Shortly after Anthony met up with us and shortly after that two good friends from Warped Tour last summer, Zack and Dan came and hung out. This was seriously the best night I have had n tour thus far. Such great people with good hearts to surround myself with.

We're in freezing Cincinnati today! It was a long load in today and set up. Again trying to stay warm. kept it pretty chill during the day. It was snowing, so there wasn't much to do really. After the show, we just chilled on the bus, watched movies and stayed up late listening to music and checking out art online....we were having so much fun we didn't even realize that it was 6:30 in the morning! Then it was nap time before the Detroit show!

I've been psyched to come here all tour...just for a good ghetto dance party. I was told that the venue is It was effing freezing here today. I just tried to load in as fast as possible and stay indoors to keep warm. There were kids out early this morning lined up again and Anthony was kind enough to go play a mini acoustic set for them to warm them up for the evening! Before the show, Scott, Josh, Chris and I walked down the street to grab some dinner before the show at some greek joint. It was a great show yet again. Apparently this venue is upstairs from The Shelter, where some of 8 Mile was filmed. The kids seemed psyched to see all the bands and get to meet them for hugs and autographs.

PS...don't forget that I have free posters for all of the bands and subscriptions to AP Magazine for $5....you simply cannot beat that deal! seriously...get wierd with it!

Yay!! Happy Bunny Day!! We rolled into the city today and there was easily over a foot of snow in some areas. It was beautiful! I LOVE the snowy weather! I have not been prepared for it on this tour....I have more dresses in my luggage than anything else, so Aaron from AP was kind enough to warm my little body and hook me up with a warm coat and scarf! So sweet!! On top of that he invited me back to his home to spend time with his family on the holiday! It was so wonderful to be able to sit by a fire, relax and eat a wonderful home cooked meal. This was a big show for the tour today and we were slightly weary of who would and would not make the haul out to the show in the weather...we were stoked because everyone came out to support some of their favorite musicians!! Everyone played wonderful tonight. All of the guys in all of the bands were out mingling throughout the show with their fans. After the show we all hung out back stage until they kicked us out. Then we rolled to Cute's bus and hung out there for a while. My good friend from Warped Tour last summer, Katie, came and hung out with me at the show and after...so good to see such good people on the road.

Lexington, KY - DAY OFF

We had a day off today which is always awesome! Today was particularly awesome for me! Colin and I were up early, so we walked into the mall to grab coffee and take a peek at the surroundings. When we rolled back to the bus, Indy, Josh and I went to the hotel to get beautified....well I did, I think they just showered so they wouldn't smell bad.
The rest of the day was awesome!!!! I rallied the troops to go get manicures and pedicures! Most everyone was hesitant at first, but then as soon as one guy agreed they all started jumping in for the fun! It was me, Shaant, Richard, Josh and Steve that joined me for some deluxe pamper treatment! It was seriously amazing!

Rock Springs, WY - Day Off

I haven't been here in Rock Springs for five years (yes, I actually have been here before. wierd? yes.) It was on the same tour with my girls from Denver and our van broke down for three days. I was on a mission to relive my last time spent in Rock Springs with games of Yatzee and some karaoke! Unfortunately the karaoke bar was closed on Sundays...boo.
We ended up having a good time anyway even with the crap weather...raining and hailing all day pretty much. There was a lot of time spent on the bus and in Starbucks today. When the Envy guys rolled up, Steve, Richard, Nick and I all jumped in their van and they drove us to the mall and and movie theater. Before we went to see movies, we walked into the mall and found the Easter Bunny and pretty much had to take a photo with the little guy then we were off to the movies. Most of us went to see Shooter and some others went for Blades of Glory or 300. Since it was April fools, some of the guys took it upon themselves to play a little prank. So Brian from Envy moved their van while the rest of us were finishing up. When Larry (Envy's TM) came outside to find that their van was missing, he about had a heart attack. Super funny to the rest of us, just not Larry :)

So good to be home. I immiditley called my dad when I woke up and he came to pick me up so I could do laundry and go meet my mom for lunch. It's always wonderful to come home to family. In the afternoon after set up at the Gothic, I went over to visit my good friends, Stephanie and Virgil and their little boy, Logan, at Suburban Home Records. They are some of the most wonderful people I know. I only had a about and hour or so before I had to get for doors so it was a quick visit. Tonight's show was awesome. Circa headlined and the kids in Denver got a special little treat tonight. Anthony came out and sang Montauk solo...it was so rad and the kids were so psyched. After the show, my friends Kelly and Ryan took me to a bar I roll to often when I am back home, The Hi Dive. A few of the dudes came as well, Spanky, Scott, Chris and Adrian (Cute's tech) and they were lucky enough to see me sign karaoke...something I have not done in five years! I sang Build Me Up Buttercup by The Foundation and it was amazing...at least in my eyes!

Pretty effing cold here in Omaha! Dang.
It was a rad venue today though. I was psyched to be at a venue that I am pretty sure some of my favorite Saddle Creek bands in Omaha have most likely played at....Azure Ray, Son Ambulance, The Good Life, Bright Eyes...The show was great. Circa's lights looked incredible tonight. When you all are at their show, make sure you pay attention to this...they spent over 200 or 300 hours editing this for your viewing pleasure, so do not let it pass you by. Seriously amazing! We all just hung out on the bus and listened to music all night, rather than watch a movie. It was rad but I dipped out a little early and went to bed.

We rolled into the show today and it was sooo effing cold! Luckily for us, Steve's lady friend, Ellen, lives here so she had a car and took Anthony, Spanky and me to the local Whole Foods and to run a couple of erronds before the show. Set up was easy today and the show was great. I feel so fortunate to be able to see some of the best bands out there right now...and I get to do it every night! After the show, a couple of Anthony's friends took us to the Tripple Rock...best venue/bar/restaraunt in MN! We had the yummiest late night snack attack and the best company! I met one amazing lady, Tiff, a good friend of the Circa guys. She is amazing..so much fun. Also, Scott's girlfriend, Jacqalin (sp??), got into town tonight and is going to spend the next few days with us. The night was so great! I can't wait to make it back in this city again!!! Chicago tomorrow!

I have only been to Salt Lake City once about five years ago when I was on tour with my friends in Hemi Cuda and I didn't really get to check out the city not see the beautiful mountain scape surrounding the city. I wish we had time to go play in the mountains...next time. Josh and I got up fairly early and went on our usual walk to find breckie and a cup of coffee. Where the venue is there is absolutely nothing around except for a giant mall so we just walked around for a bit and headed back to the bus. I got a hold of my girl Caroline after load in and she came to pick me up and we went to here house for so I could get all cleaned up and visit her parrot, Benito!!! She was having a party that night, so I just helped her clean up and she got me back to the venue. It was kind of a crazy venue. When we first loaded in there were cages up in the main room...Spanky and I were talking about having a cage dance off....would have been off the charts! There was some wierd see through floor in the venue too...that crap sketches me out sometimes. The show was great tonight! The kids were super into all of the bands. That evening after the show, we all just hung out and a a super sweet photo shoot with all of the Lions and Envy guys. This was our last night to hang with Jack from Cute too since he is leaving the tour. We have a day off tomorrow so it was a late night of hanging out...especially because there was nothing really around our area...and the few things that were in the mall all closed super early.

This morning I woke up and went for a walk around town. I found a coffee shop and talked to some ladies to find out where the good vintage clothing boutiques are. Lucky for me, there were three within walking distance. After a bit of browsing, I returned to the venue for setup. It was a fairly large venue, and everything looked great for the show. After setup, Anthony and I walked around town some more and did a little bit more window shopping, looked at some street art photos and then we went to grab an early dinner at PF Changs. The show was pretty mellow tonight because it was not packed, but these are the shows that I think people treasure more than others. Kids had the opportunity to really take in every set and enjoy every last bit of everyone’s set. Those are some lucky kids to be able to see these bands in such an intimate setting. I was able to get some closer pics today. Usually, I can't make it anywhere close to the stage to take pics. Cute Is What We Aim for signed today, and after their set, Shaant wandered about the venue to meet and hang with their fans. Circa closed out the show this evening, and Anthony jumped right off the stage and into the crowd to meet their fans—just one more thing to add to such a rad night for so many show goers. After the show and load-out, we got together and a posse of us went walking around town and ended up at some dance party club. I figured it would be only seconds before I had to get up and shake my booty. I actually surprised myself and made a swift little sneak exit with Anthony, and we walked down the street to another small and much more mellow watering hole where I had a night cap and we walked back to the bus, trying not to get lost. We had a visitor on our bus tonight, too! Rob from As Tall As Lions came for an overnight, but I kind of wimped out and ended going to bed.

 I haven’t been to Seattle for a few years now. I love this city and the people in it. I wanted to go check out their library because it is one of the most awesome buildings I’ve ever been in (definitely go check it out when you are in the city). Unfortunatly I was unable to go. I was fortunate enough to have been able to meet up with my good friend Phaedra that moved to Seattle from Denver a while back—so great to see her! Then I rolled back to the bus to meet up with Brendan and go up to Capitol Hill to get massages by Katrina at Suite India (www.suiteindia.com). I haven’t gotten pampered since the holidays in December, so I was stoked to get some work done. I popped into a record shop down the street, Sonic Boom, while Brenden was getting his massage, and I ended up spending another $75 on music and a book. Let’s see, what did I purchase... Silversun Pickups, the New Modest Mouse, Metric (because I lost my old one) and Lavender Diamond, all of which are amazing! After our lovely treatments and shop-a-thon, it was time for me to set up. I had another great view of the stage. When the kids rolled in, they charged the stage and the line for the Circa Survive signing filled up. The venue was completely packed shortly after doors. I was lucky to be where I was so I could sneak around the back of the stage, otherwise I would have been stuck in the corner all night because there was literally zero room to move. After the show, I met up with my girls, Phaedra and Shae, for dinner. After filling up our little bellies, we rolled over to a bar around the corner that the guys from Band Of Horses own for a couple of beers and a peanut fight.

3-25-07  San Francisco, CA  We rolled into SF pretty early today. Colin and I took a little walk in the area to find a Starbucks…he’s always down to go find coffee in the early AM. I love this city…sooo excited to be here. Shortly after we arrived I realized that I couldn’t really load in until later in the afternoon so I had a girlfriend pick me up and we went to Golden Gate Park to see the Vivienne Westwood exhibit at the de Young museum. She is one of my biggest inspirations in the fashion industry so this was an incredible visit for me! When I got back to Slims, I set up my goods and realized that there was hardly room for any of my stuff so I kept it pretty minimal tonight. We had to do the Circa signing after the show so I went outside and hooked 50 kids up with wristbands so they could meet all of the guys in person. The show was good tonight! I actually got to see most of show again tonight except for the very end. After the show load out went super smooth, then we just chilled on the bus and watched movies until bus call at 4am.

3-24-07  Los Angeles, CA  
We arrived tat the Avalon a little after noon and again, there were kids lined up and ready for a packed, sold out show! I was outside throwing up some posters and girls surrounded me with about 5 billion of the same questions…mostly consisting of “where’s Jack? Is he coming out here?” and then they all got a glimpse of Shaant trying to sneak in the back entrance for sound check and ran to surround him for a little photo sesh. The LA show’s are always the craziest in the sense that it’s one of the main dates that all of the industry people are out and ready to be impressed. The venue was awesome…tons of character and packed with kids. I was lucky enough to have an amazing view from right behind the sound board. Every band sounded awesome and on point. After Circa’s set Colin came out in the main lobby area to be surrounded by fans waiting for a photo opp and hugs. Shortly after Anthony stopped by my table to say hi and see what we were going to get up to after the show. Following him was about 20 girls waiting for their chance to meet him and get an autograph. As soon as the word was out that Anthony was out in the lobby, about 30 more kids came over to meet him. He was pretty much posted up until after the show ended and security kicked everyone out. I was psyched tonight because there were several of my friends in the area that came to the show and snagged me up after and took me to a party in Silver Lake. All of the Silverstein guys were in town and heaps of other friends from Warped 06’ were in the house which made for a nice and unexpected reunion. Anthony ended up cruising to the party for a short time as well but dipped out pretty early. I actually got back to the bus pretty early as well. SF is tomorrow, so I passed on and made it a night.

3-18-07
Fort Worth, TX

Today was a long one, especially after a full day at
SXSW yesterday! There were heaps of bands playing this
local four day festival, including a couple of bands
that played at SXSW yesterday, Days Away and the Photo
Atlas…both of which were amazing! I was a fan of the
New Frontiers on Militia Group as well. Today’s set
up was rad, as I was in the main room as I was able to
catch all of the sets. Kids were super psyched for the
Cute Is What We Aim For signing that we set up about
mid day. There were people lined up around the room
and out one of the exits. As the evening ended we
ended up having a fairly early bus call at midnight.
So we chilled on the bus and watched movies all
night…in fact I ended up staying awake to watch the
sunrise…. and caught a few re-runs of Saved by the
Bell!! Since it was a day off the next day we did not
end up heading to bed until around 7:30am.

3-19-07
El Paso

Today was the first day off! I ended up sleeping much
of the day…till at least 2am. I was planning on
getting a mani and a pedi and try to recruit some of
the guys to join me….easier said than done. I ended
up going out to eat with Indy, the AP tour manager
then walking around the mall for a couple hours. Indy
and I ended up seeing some rad little shops with heaps
of crazy bling. Indy immediately picked up this angry
snowman chain necklace and ended up not picking it up
right away. I couldn’t help but purchase a pair of
imitation diamond pistol earrings…LOVE them! We ran
into some of the Circa guys (Scott, Steve and Chris)
and as soon as the guys joined up I made a quick exit
to do some girly shopping that I didn’t want to drag
them into. I came back to the bus an hour or so
later and they all had become a little more thugged
out with new jewelry…and this is only the beginning!
Give them a few more weeks and their necks are going
to be so loaded with chains that they won’t the energy
to lift their heads.

3-20-07
Tempe, AZ

We woke up fairly early today and were able to start
loading in fairly early. I got everything set up for
the show then just kicked back for a bit. Anthony and
I went on a little adventure with one of the runners
to Whole Foods and cheers to a shot each of wheat
grass…seriously made me feel amazing and helps him
perform at night. The show was great! As Tall as
Lions and Envy on the Coast did signings throughout
the evening as well.

3-21-07
Pomona, CA

First day in California! When we rolled in there were
two kids that walked up and got in line right away
with fold up chairs and blankets in hand…and this was
something like 9am! The Glass House sold out quick
and kids packed the house! I was super busy all night
hanging with all of the show goers and organizing the
Cute signing. The night went very well. Eric
“Spanky”, the merch master for Circa didn’t look like
he had a second to breath with everyone rushing to buy
their show paraphernalia. After Envy’s set there was
a mini signing at my table with Bryan. This man is
seriously one of the nicest dudes on tour. At the end
of the evening, he even helped me with the hardest
part of my job, tearing down the tri-stand AP signage.
The frame for this thing is gnarly, trust me. It took
4 people this night to attack that thing and get is
down. I’m going to take pics one of these nights so
you all can see just how gnarly it is….it could
probably eat me alive if I gave it the opportunity.
After the show was very mellow. Just chilled on
Cute’s bus for a bit and then went back to my bus and
watched South Park.

3-22-07
San Diego, CA

So, I am pretty sure that I have everyone’s names down
now…at least I am super close! I have been super
excited about today because we’re in San Diego where I
am from!!! We woke up pretty early so the Circa guys
could do a walk through at MacBeth, Tom Delong from
Blink 182 and Angels and Airwaves footwear and apparel
company.
I was stoked because I have a couple of friends that
work there that I wanted to say hello. Unfortunately,
they were in a plane on their way to Chicago so I was
not able to see them. When we arrived in downtown
we parked pretty far away from the venue because there
was no parking anywhere near the House of Blues.
Colin and Anthony from Circa and I took a little walk
to grab a cup of coffee. It was a beautiful day…not
too hot with a nice ocean breeze. Later in the
afternoon after load in, Josh from the Circa crew and
Richard from the Cute crew and I walked down to
Pokez…one of the best Mexican restaurants in San
Diego! My good friend, Katie, came to meet up with us
then we rolled back to HOB. The show started and kids
lined up two flights of stairs around the club to get
their chance to meet all of the Circa Survive guys.
The signing went well and we cut it off just before
Envy on the Coast went on. All of the bands played
great tonight! I absolutely LOVE watching all of
these guys perform. I took a peek at the sets from
the upstairs balcony and I was stoked. Those guys in
As Tall as Lions have some effing moves…. especially
Julio, he’s all over the place. A dance party is a
must on this tour! It was an early night tonight so
we basically loaded out and left with zero time for
any hang sessions. We have a long day in Vegas
tomorrow, so the rest is probably much needed.

3-23-07  Las Vegas, NV
 I LOVE Las Vegas!!! I come here far too often but still love it just the same every time. My master plan was to give some of the Circa guys a lesson in Craps..it’s absolutely the best game to play in Vegas! My craps lessons turned into me walking around the shops in between Mandalay Bay and The Luxor with Steve’s girlfriend. It’s nice to have another lady to play with…especially when I am surrounded by men most of the time (not that I’m complaining). The set up for the show was a bit wacky today since it was in a casino. All of the merch and the signing with Cute was out in the main casino area so I was not able to check out the show at all, so unfortunately I don’t have any words to say about the performances tonight. Lucky for me, I still had several visitors this evening. Chris from the Lions crew cam and chilled as well as Bryan from Envy. Several of the Lions and Envy guys had their families in town for this show. They seemed super excited to see their boys perform! After the show, breakdown went super fast. There was a crazy cover band that played after the AP show…so effing good! A girlfriend and I partook in a bit of the dance party then we all decided to go ride the roller coaster on the Stratosphere. I peaced out part way into the walk and Chris joined me to go find a craps table to make my winning table! It was a weird night…I wasn’t feeling any of the tables, ended up playing anyway and losing 100 dollars…so bummed. We just ended up walking around, having a couple of bevy’s then I decided to call it a night. When I got back to my bus, Brendan and I decided to venture back into the casino and ended up on the dance floor in HOB again….well, I ended up on the dance floor. I don’t think Brendan was going to budge his feet for a second. So there I was jumping into random middle aged women’s dance circles and tried to get them to dance with me. This didn’t last long because I didn’t find anyone that could handle my incredible dance moves. ? So that became the end of my evening…tomorrow’s LA, so I peaced out and went to sleep.

Portland, OR

3-27-07 Portland, OR I have been looking forward to checking out Portland forever! I’ve heard nothing but wonderful stories and good times had here. I got up early today and walked around the street and found a rad little record shop and bought a couple new albums: Common's Be, and the Knife's Silent Shout—both of which I have been wanting forever now. I was referred to go grab breakfast at a little joint down the street called Cup And Saucer. I went, and it was amazing! I found a couple little boutiques that I wanted to check out as well that had cute little vintage frocks. I then went back for load-in at the Hawthorn Theater. I got a prime spot for viewing at this venue, straight in the back but in the center of the stage. After load-in, I kidnapped Brendan and we went to meet two of my good friends that moved to Portland from San Diego. We dropped back into Cup And Saucer for another bite to eat and then went to a rad little toy store that had all kinds of Kid Robot stuff and all kinds of random collectables. I knew that when I saw this shop that Scott had probably beat me to it and spent heaps of cash already. When I got back to the bus, there he was with a bag full of goodies from that shop. (Good thing his girlfriend is meeting up with him to take all of the goods that he has purchased back home for him!) On our way back to the bus, we snuck into Ben & Jerry’s for a little fix—and a lovely photo-op for Brendan and I. After doors opened, kids poured in with so much freaking energy! They didn’t stop rocking from the second that Envy On The Coast stepped onstage till Circa Survive ended the evening. The room was steaming all night, and everyone seemed to have had a wonderful night. The guys in Envy On The Coast and As Tall As Lions both did a signing with me today, and the ladies went wild for these guys. A couple even were pretty much trying to crawl over the table just to get a touch of one of their sweaty little bodies. After load-out, we met up with the guys from Portugal. The Man and went to their local watering hole the Tripple Nickle. It was so much fun! Joe from Portugal. is quite possibly the raddest guy ever! So stoked to have met him. I think pretty much everyone that knows him feels the exact same way.

Medford Oregon

3-26-07  Medford, OR – off day  Day off number two! There was not a whole lot around except for the mall so I spent much of the day there. I heard that there was glow golf inside the mall and I had to check it out! So Josh, Anthony, Nick and I all rolled in to check it. About 10 minutes later we were already split up and Josh and I were shopping and we lost Nick and Anthony in the food court. Finally got to shower today as well…which was much needed! It feels sooo good to just chill today. After got all fresh and clean, Brendan and I ventured in the mall again to grab some food and swing by to get a manicure….something I had been looking forward to since before this tour started!! May sounds stoops to do while n the road, but when you are surrounded by dudes al of the time, any little bit of femininity that I can involve myself in is amazing. We just ended up chillin and watching movies on the bus in the evening until Spanky and I got some energy up to go to the karaoke bar. No one else had the balls to get out of the bus and walk to the bar until Spanky and I tested out the scene there. As soon as we walked in, there was the raddest woman getting weird with the mic! Within about 20 minutes, the whole posse came to join us at the bar (Scott, Chris, Brendan, Anthony, Steve and his girl Ellen. Everyone was pretty mellow so I took it upon myself to sign up Scott and Spanky to sing Mother by Danzig. There were about two songs then they got called up to spread their vocal love. I was trying to get up the guts to sing Walking After Midnight by Patsy Klien…Anthony said that f they had it, he would sing it with me. I found it and he wimped out…actually, I kind of wimped out too. Spanky and Brendan finished off the evening with a duet of Margaritaville by Jimmy Buffet! Simply amazing!!!!

SXSW - Austin, TX

3-16-07 Austin, TX – SXSW @ Emo’s I have been psyched for this show for a while now, especially because I had never been to SXSW before! There are so many amazing bands playing everywhere! The streets were filled with eager fans and musicians. This day was extra special for me because I was also able to represent Keep A Breast (www.keep-a-breast.org), a non-profit breast cancer awareness organization. We raised close to $1,000 with the help of Michelle, another KAB volunteer, and the security guys at the venue. There were three stages, two in the main building and a tent across the street with the third and about 20 bands. The line was a couple blocks long before we even arrived at the venue and continued to fill 6th street…it was crazy!! When the clock hit 12 o’clock, the kids rolled in and the bands rolled out on stage. There was high energy throughout the tent where I posted up, and the same at the main building where Michelle set up her camp. The bands were great! In addition to the bands that are on the AP Tour, we were joined by The Photo Atlas, The Devil Wears Prada, Olympia, Spill Canvas, The Deer Hunter, Weatherbox, The Horrors, and Hot Cross just to name a few. After the show was over at around 6pm, we had the rest of the night to play! I went to see some friends bands play down the street from Emo’s and grabbed some good old fashion Tex Mex…which I will probably never do again unless there is absolutely nothing else to eat. Texan’s are not to keen on catering to vegetarians. I met up with some friends that I had met on Warped Tour last summer and I rolled out to the Pure Volume Party that night. There was an open bar and some great bands and MC’s to entertain us in a warehouse setting off the main strip of SXSW. There was just the right amount of people at the party. We stayed for a few hours and hung out, then the As Tall As Lions guys drove me back to our hotel so I could crawl into bed for nap time.
